Thus I've been tinkering with it. No adding new content since 1) I don't have the graphical modeling expertise for it and 2) Bandai would have my ass faster than I could say 'copyright infringement', I'm just altering the existing stuff. To that end, I've looked at the Zeon units yesterday and noticed that the Rick Dom II was left unfinished. While finishing it would be a no-brainer, I'm not quite sure what role it's meant to have in the game. The original dev coded it as a flying unit and it visually has a bazooka as well, so it'd obviously be a flying fast-attack unit, BUT:
- The Gelgoog Marine already has the bazooka role covered (on the ground).
- The Kampfer already has the raider role covered (on the ground), being weak in direct combat but able to hit multiple targets with its chain mines.
- The Dra-C already has the fast-attack flier role covered.
- Gundam Century is a total conversion for Starcraft which transforms graphics, sounds, stats, gameplay into an environment which suits the popular Japanese animation saga; Gundam. To extremely simplify the concept of Gundam, it's about two political factions which do intergalactic combat with giant robots known as mobile suits.
- Most of the gundam games on PC that I played mainly comes from mod, like Gundam Century on Starcraft or Gundam mods on Homeworld. Click to expand. There is a game call New Gundam Breaker thats gonna come out soon in the US I heard that there is a pc version for this.
- The gundam is a scrapped terran unit from StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. It can be found in the game's beta files.1 Gundam is an anime series featuring mechs of the same name.

- Alright, so before we begin, I wanna get a couple of common recommendations that people usually bring up with Gundam Gaming on PC out of the way so that you don't have to worry about them anymore:
- First of all, SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online (SDGO) is now 100% SHUT DOWN, so that one's out of the question unfortunately. Second of all, Universal Century Gundam Online (UCGO) is GARBAGE and totally not worth your time at all. Icarus Server is falling apart and John's UCGO Server just recently shut down because John's a big baby and ragequit UCGO all because he couldn't manage his own playerbase. So those two games aren't worth it. Bootfighter Windom XP and Ultimate Knight Windom XP are both completely obsolete now, and Ultimate Knight Windom SV is basically cancelled at this point, so that's out of the question as well. But the reason why they're obsolete is because we now have another game that plays just like WindomXP except A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER; but I'll get to that below. ;-)
- Now that I got those ones out of the way, I will tell you everything you need to know about current Gundam Gaming on PC:
- First off, your Gundam MMOs that are currently available:
- 1.) Mobile Suit Gundam Online [MSGO]:
- If you're a fan of Universal Century Timeline, then this game will be a match made in Heaven for you. This game has two types of Combat. First, we got MASSIVE Multiplayer Battles with up to 52 vs 52 Large-Scaled Player-Based Battles on HUGE maps. Second, we got Smaller-Scaled 6 vs 6 combat, almost like how SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online did. And with the 52 vs 52 combat, every single week the game updates and changes what the set battlefield scenario map is, as they basically follow the timeline in chronological order from start to finish, and on each map the objectives and obstacles change. For example: If they have the Battlefield set to Jaburo, Zeon will be able to call in Char Aznable piloting his Z'Gok Custom. If the battle is on Solomon, IIRC Zeon can call in Big Zam for support. And the Federation also have very similar Off-Map Support Call-Ins as well, such as Carpet Bombing, Kai in the Guncannon, Hayato in the Guntank, Amuro in the RX-78, even Bright w/ the White Base coming in for support! You get to customize your mobile suits to your preference, that includes Colorschemes and Weapon Loadouts. You pick up to 4 Mobile Suits to spawn with per-battle, and when you go into battle, you will only be able to spawn with one of those 4 that you picked. If you die in battle with one of them, there will be a cool-down timer that will appear for that mobile suit, and in the meantime, you will either have to wait for it to go down OR spawn with a different mobile suit in the meantime. The cool-down timer differs depending on how powerful the mobile suit in question is, and is usually VERY HIGH for Gundam-Type Units. Even though this game is not in english and has no plans for any international releases, signing up for it is a BREEZE! No Social Security Numbers, No Online IDs, No Bullshit like that. Just sign up and play! But there's only ONE Minor Problem: The game is currently IP Blocked for Japan Only. Thankfully, Bypassing the IP Block is EXTREMELY Simple as easy to do! I managed to do it without a problem with the help of a special VPN that I use called SoftEther VPN Client; which is a HIGH-SPEED FREE VPN that supports a variety of different countries and was even created in Japan in the first place, so it's a Win/Win Scenario if you ask me! If you need any help with bypassing the IP Block or anything, I can help you out with that if you wish. Just consult me personally on it and I'll help you out no problem! Another thing that I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND checking out is the English Fan-Made Wiki for MSGO that helps out IMMENSELY with learning how to play the game, setup the game, what all the menus are, etc... I'll link it below with the rest:
- Game Trailer here:

- - https://www.softether.org/ <-- Free.
- - http://mudfish.net/ <-- Better, but Not QUITE Free, but close enough to it.
- ENGLISH WIKI FOR THE GAME:
- 2.) Gundam Diorama Front:
- Here's a question for ya. Whad'ya get when you take Clash of Clans and Gundam, and put them both in a blender? The answer: This Game. Gundam Diorama Front plays extremely similar to that of Clash of Clans, and it is 100% Free 2 Play. It's currently in Closed Beta right now, but just like SDGN, it will be set for full release later this year. Definitely keep an eye on it in the meantime. BE ADVISED, this game is partially IP-Blocked. The keyword being 'Partially'. You only need to turn on your VPN just to log into the game. Once you're logged in, you can turn it off and play it normally. It's really that simple. You can try using the VPNs I advised about MSGO and it should work for this as well just fine. =)

- Registration Guide:
- Now that the 2 Main Gundam MMOs are done, let's talk about another few games, shall we?
- 1.) SD Gundam Senki 0080:
- This one right here is a bit of a Rarer Gundam Game on PC, but it is out there regardless. If you've ever seen the game on PS3 called 'Gundam Senki: Battlefield Record U.C. 0081', this game right here basically mimics that game limb from limb except the mobile suits are in SD Form. Does that make it bad? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The game itself is still VERY FUN and even has Online Multiplayer! If you wish to see gameplay of the game, here you go:

- 2.) Gundam SEED - Little Fighter 2 [LOW-SPEC GAME]:
- For you Gundam Fans out there who have Low-Spec PCs that either have Windows XP 32-bit or Modern-Day Low-Spec PCs w/ Intel Video Cards, this is one Gundam Game I'd definitely recommend giving a shot. Basically, if you don't know what Little Fighter 2 is, it's a Side-Scrolling Beat-Em-Up game created in 1999 that is unbelievably moddable. Surprise Suprise, someone ended up making a Gundam SEED mod for it, and it is Fun As Hell! You can play as all your favorite mobile suits from Gundam SEED w/ a few cameos from SEED Destiny thrown in there as well such as the Strike Freedom and Force Impulse, but it's more focused on the 1st SEED than it is on Destiny. But if you have a shitty PC with a crap graphics card, this is definitely one to check out! IMPORTANT NOTE: This game does have problems with NVIDIA and AMD Video Cards on Windows Vista thru 7. The last NVIDIA Video Card that can be used that doesn't have any problems at all was the GeForce 8800 series. Video Cards that were made after that have this problem with the game where the sprites would not mirror and that they would only be facing to the right. It's an annoying glitch and can really interfere with the game. But if you have an Intel Video Card, you should be totally fine.
- Sample Gameplay:
- Now that those are outta the way, let's talk some Gundam RTS Games on PC for you strategy games out there:
- 1.) Starcraft - Gundam Century [LOW-SPEC GAME]:
- Another great one for Low-Spec PC Gamers and fans of Starcraft: Brood War. This little Mod we got here for SC: Brood War replaces the Terran w/ the Earth Federation and the Protoss w/ Zeon. Sorry guys, no Wing / SEED / 00 in this one. But either way, it doesn't stop it from being any less fun that it really is.
- You can find Starcraft: Gundam Century on MODDB.com here:
- - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qge4epRMPfk
- 2.) C&C Generals - XenoForce 1.5 / C&C 3 - XenoForce Reborn:
- Being my personal favorite Gundam RTS Game on PC currently, XenoForce currently has 2 Homes. The original mod was for Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour 1.04; which adds 3 New Generals, the Earth Forces General, the Spacenoid General, and the U.N. Spacy General into the game with new units from each faction in the game. The newer version of XenoForce known as XenoForce Reborn currently resides in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars 1.09 which adds the 'Universal Century' as a new side; in which case the current version has a Heavy Emphysis on Gundam X so far, but keep in mind that XenoForce Reborn is subject to change in the future and it will add a lot more.

- 3.) Homeworld 2: 0079 - 0083 Mod 3.1 (Remastered) / SEED Mod 3.21 (Classic):
- Being one of the greatest RTS Games of All Time, Homeworld 2 has not one, but Two Gundam Mods for it. One that focuses specifically on the Universal Century Timeline Gap of the years 0079 - 0083. The second one focuses on the Cosmic Era; which IIRC the latest version adds in Z.A.F.T. and O.R.B. as playable sides, but no sign of O.M.N.I. yet. Build up your fleet, pump out some mobile suit squadrons, send them into battle against your enemy, and enjoy the fireworks. You can check out the gameplay of each mod here:

- NOTE: If you're wondering 'Wtf's with the TIE Fighter Sound Effects in Gundam Mod 3.1?', Don't ask, I have no fucking idea. I questioned the same thing too. But either way, I can dig it. 8)
- NOTE #2: The 0079-0083 Mod has officially been updated for Homeworld 2 Remastered and is now available on the Steam Workshop if you have the game. Also, we fixed the TIE Fighter Sounds. XD
- NOTE #3: SEED Mod 3.21 is currently still ONLY for Homeworld 2 Classic. That is subject to change in the future, but for now, it's Classic Only.
- 4.) Total Annihilation: Spring - Gundam RTS:
- If you're a fan of Large-Scaled RTS Battles, then this one should definitely catch your attention as well. Set in the Early Years of the Universal Century Timeline of 0079 - 0080, this fan-made Gundam RTS Game on the Total Annihilation: Spring Open Source Engine is extremely fun to play and is basically like a 'Gundam Supreme Commander' type of game. At this point, this game has been cancelled and discontinued, but it is still up for download if you know where to look.

- And lastly, if you wanna get into Gundam Games that are based on Emulation
- I would strongly recommend PPSSPP; which is a Functioning PSP Emulator. Using that will grant you access to every single Gundam Game on the PSP.
- The Link to PPSSPP's Website is here:
- Great Gundam Games on the PSP to look out for are:
- - Gundam VS Gundam NEXT Plus <--- (replacement for WindomXP)
- - Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Universe
- - Super Robot Wars Z2 & Z2.2
- - Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna PORTABLE
- Those are currently The Best Gundam Games Ever Made on the PSP, that you can play without a problem on PPSSPP.
- Be advised, PSP Emulation requires your PC to either Meet or Exceed the Following Minimum System Requirements:
- - (AT LEAST) A Dual Core Processoor
- - (AT LEAST) NVIDIA/AMD Video Card OR an Intel HD 4000 Integrated Graphics or Higher
- But if you REALLY wanna go all out with Emulation for Gundam Gaming on the PC as well, then if your PC can handle it, I would also recommend getting PCSX2; the Best PS2 Emulator on Planet Earth currently available.
- The Link to PCSX2's Website is here:
- If you decide to get your hands on that, here are some Gundam Games I would definitely recommend for that as well:
- - Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation VS. Zeon DX
- - Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front
- - Mobile Suit Gundam: Lost War Chronicles
- - Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Never Ending Tomorrow
- - Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Rengou VS. Z.A.F.T. II Plus
- - Another Century's Episode 1, 2, and 3.
- - Super Robot Wars Alpha 3
- Another form of emulation I would also recommend is Wii/Gamecube Emulation as well. There are a few Gundam Game Gems on those systems as well. Two of them, specifically.
- - Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS. Zeta Gundam (GAMECUBE)
- If you can get ahold of the Dolphin Wii/Gamecube Emulator, then those two games would work out BEAUTIFULLY for you. =)
- The Link to Dolphin's Website is here:
- PS2 and Wii/Gamecube Emulation has HIGHER Minimum System Requirements than PSP Emulation does.
- The Minimum System Requirements for PS2 and Wii/Gamecube Emulation are as follows:
- - (AT LEAST) A Quad Core Processor
- - (AT LEAST) 256-Bit NVIDIA/AMD Graphics Card
- Now finally, about Gundam VS Gundam NEXT Plus on the PSP. This game in particular is the #1 Game to Get if you do not have a PS3, and always wanted to play Gundam Extreme VS. Full Boost. If you wish to learn more info about the details with this game to get ahold of it and to make it play just like Gundam Extreme VS. Full Boost, then see this link here that I whipped up for people on my Steam Group for Full Details on everything you'll need to know about it:
